This year the Children's Book Council of Australia is turning 80 and here at the WA Branch we're excited to celebrate with a variety of activities and events that are special to this year beyond our normal Children's Book Week® events.

Design a banner for the CBCA WA Birthday Book Adventure
The top 100 banners will be printed and displayed at our big birthday event on Saturday 23 August held at the State Library of WA
All schools will have a banner showcased on a highlight reel shared through CBCA WA social media that can be re-shared.
Banners due by Friday 8 August and can be submitted via email to [email protected]

Public Libraries go big for Children's Book Week®
Head to your local library in the month of August and find out what they have going on to celebrate! There are special events, amazing displays and epic storytimes.
And all local libraries have been invited to get involved with a Library Treasure Hunt!
Each library chooses 5 and add 5 of your own to make a library specific adventure that is perfect for your library.
If you're a local library and would like to be involved email [email protected] to be sent the Library Treasure Map files!
