Children's Book Council of Australia WA Branch members were attending a brief but important Special General Meeting at 6.30pm on Tuesday 28 May at Oasis Lotteries House, 37 Hampden Road, Nedlands

 The following Special Resolution was proposed and voted on:

 Special Resolution:

That the CBCA WA Branch members accept the change of rules listed in the document The Children’s Book Council of Australia WA Branch (Inc.) Constitution dated May 2019.

Rationale:

The WA Branch Constitution has been rewritten in order to comply with the Associations Incorporation Regulations 2016 under the Western Australian Associations Incorporation Act 2015.

Result:

The  new WA Branch Constitution was adopted  in order to comply with the Associations Incorporation Regulations 2016 under the Western Australian Associations Incorporation Act 2015.
