2017 will mark the 40th anniversary of the Make Your Own Story Book Competition. What an amazing milestone! What an accomplishment for the budding authors and illustrators, dedicated teachers, supportive parents and hard-working CBCA WA committee members over the years! Please become part of our 40th year celebrations by encouraging your children, students, friends and neighbours to put pen to paper and send in an entry. We await the 2017 entries with great anticipation.

Guest Speaker: Author James Foley, WA author and illustrator, shortlisted Picture Book of the Year illustrator of My Dead Bunny (with Sigi Cohen). James ‘makes books for courageous kids’.
