MEMBERSHIP

Membership of CBCA WA Branch is open to individuals and organisations interested in promoting children's literature, encouraging children's reading through a variety of community activities, and supporting Western Australia authors, illustrators and publishers and those who provide children's literature services in schools and the community.

This includes educators, schools, library staff and their organisations, authors, illustrators, publishers, retailers and other corporations, parents, grandparents and community members.

Membership benefits

Individual Membership of the CBCA (WA) provides you with:
  • regular e-newsletters including information on upcoming events and relevant topics of interest
  • invitations to all WA functions (A Night with our Stars, Judge’s Talks, Book Week Dinner) at the members reduced rate
  • opportunities to participate in Branch activities with others who share your interest in children's books
  • minimum 10% discount on children’s books from selected WA bookshops
  • access to member exclusive, free digital downloads from the eStore

Institutional Membership of the CBCA (WA) provides you with:
  • regular e-newsletters including information on upcoming events and relevant topics of interest
  • invitations to all WA functions (A Night with our Stars, Judge’s Talks, Book Week Dinner) at the members reduced rate. Institutional members receive the reduced rates for 2 members of their staff
  • opportunities to participate in Branch activities with others who share your interest in children's books
  • minimum 10% discount on children’s books from selected WA bookshops
